Founded in 1969 the association
has had a voice in the building industry for nearly 40 years.

The Home Builders &
Remodelers Association of Northeast Mississippi is a local based
trade association whose goal is to enhance the climate for
housing and the building industry. Chief among our goals is
providing and expanding opportunities for all consumers to have
safe, decent and affordable housing.
HB&RA of Northeast
Mississippi analyzes policy issues, takes the industry’s story
to the public, monitors and works toward improving the housing
finance system, and researches economic trends. The association
also represents the industry’s interests on Capitol Hill and
strives to ensure that housing remains a local, state, and
national priority when laws are made and policies are
established.
This association is
member-driven, with a part-time professional staff. The members serve on the board of directors, elect the association’s
officers, select committees and chair the associations’
agenda.
